Terms of Service — Music Maestro

      Short version: Grade 1 is free forever. Grade 2 & 3 is a one-time payment of $14.99 AUD — yours forever, no subscription. No refunds after access is granted (digital product).
    

1. Acceptance

By using Music Maestro ("the app", "the service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are a parent or guardian using the app on behalf of a child, you accept these terms on their behalf.

2. The service

Music Maestro is an interactive music theory learning app aligned with AMEB Grade 1–3 content. We provide the service on a best-effort basis and may update or change features at any time.

3. Accounts

You may use the app without an account (guest mode — progress stored locally only)
Creating an account requires a valid email address and a password of at least 6 characters
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
One account per person; do not share accounts

4. Free and paid access

Grade 1 content is free for all users, forever
Grade 2 & 3 content requires a one-time payment of $14.99 AUD
Access is granted to the account used at the time of purchase
Paid access is permanent — there is no subscription or recurring charge

5. Payments & refunds

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards.

Because Grade 2 & 3 access is granted immediately upon payment (digital product delivered instantly), we do not offer refunds once access has been unlocked. If you experience a technical problem preventing access after payment, contact us and we will resolve it promptly.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Share, resell, or redistribute paid access to others
Attempt to bypass the payment gate or access controls
Use the app in any way that violates applicable laws

7. Intellectual property

All content, graphics, and code in Music Maestro are owned by the developer. Music theory concepts themselves are not proprietary. Piano audio samples are from the Salamander Grand Piano library (Creative Commons Attribution license).

8. Disclaimer

Music Maestro is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or that content exactly matches any specific exam board's requirements. Always consult your music teacher for official exam preparation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
